No Manual? No Problem — Ask AI How to Use Your Devices and Apps

That feature on your new phone, the remote-control settings, a printer error message — the manual is nowhere to be found, and there's no one handy to ask, right?
From now on, just ask AI. Take a photo of your screen and show it, or simply describe it in words, and it walks you through one step at a time. It's fine even if this is your first time with AI. Just type in the box at the bottom of the screen like you're talking to someone. 👇
The quick version (30 seconds)
| When this happens | AI does this |
|---|---|
| 📱 New device or feature | The setup steps, one by one |
| 🖨️ An error, or it won't work | The cause and the fix, in order |
| ⚙️ Changing an app or setting | Exactly what to tap |
| 🧾 A thick manual | Just the part you need, summarized |
Let's go through them one at a time. 👇
📱 1. Learning a new device or feature
"How to make the text bigger on my phone," "How to connect Netflix on my TV" → it tells you the order of taps, one by one.
🖨️ 2. When there's an error or it won't work
"My printer says 'paper jam' — what do I do?" → it points out the cause and the fix in order.
💡 Show it a photo. Today's AI can see photos too. Snap the screen you're stuck on, upload it, and ask "What do I do here?" — it'll pinpoint the answer.
⚙️ 3. Changing an app or setting
"How to turn off notifications on WhatsApp," "How to change my Wi-Fi password" — it tells you exactly what to tap.
🧾 4. Summarizing a thick manual
Paste in the manual and say "Just show me the part about doing ○○" → it pulls out only what you need.
⚠️ Careful. ① Telling it the device name and model number makes it much more accurate. ② But for important actions like a factory reset or a firmware update, double-check once more with the official support center or manual.
Here are some words you can use right away. 👇
3 prompts to copy and paste
1. Tell me step by step how to [what you want to do] on my [device or app name]. I'm a beginner.
2. (upload a photo of the screen) On this screen, where do I tap to [what you want]?
3. (paste the error message) Why is this error happening, and how do I fix it, step by step?
📸 Snap it like this and the answer gets sharper
A sloppy photo confuses the AI too. Do it like this and the answer comes back much more accurate.
- Get the whole screen in frame — the error message and buttons all at once, nothing cut off.
- Bright, no glare — light bouncing off the screen hides the text. Tilt the angle a little.
- Name the device too — add the model in words, like "Samsung Galaxy S24" or "LG printer."
- One thing at a time — don't pile on several problems; just the one you're stuck on right now.
Example: (photo of the error screen) + "This is a printer and this message popped up — why is it happening and how do I fix it? I'm a beginner." → Just that, and it points you straight to the answer.
FAQ
Q. Can I just describe it in words, without a photo? Yes. Describe "what the screen looks like" and it'll still help. A photo just makes it more accurate.
Q. This is my first time with AI — isn't it hard? Not at all. Just type it like you're asking a friend. If it doesn't understand, ask again in simpler words.
Q. What if it gives me a wrong answer? It happens sometimes. For important actions like a factory reset, always confirm with the official support center.
